Company Overview

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) strives to be the preferred therapy provider and employer in all communities we serve. We make a positive difference by delivering compassionate, superior care to all. Our passionate commitment to service excellence creates loyal customers and cultivates the best working environment for our TMC team. Our success is built on unwavering integrity, ethics, and an environment of innovation.

Description

As Product Manager for Ignite, you will help shape the next stage of a product built from TMC's real-world experience in healthcare and rehabilitation. You will work at the intersection of customers, technology, and business strategy, translating the challenges faced by healthcare organizations into product experiences that make their work simpler, more effective, and more valuable.

You will serve as a voice for the customer throughout the product lifecycle, developing a deep understanding of how customers use Ignite, where they encounter friction, and where new capabilities can create meaningful impact. Working closely with other Product team members, Software Development, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support, you will turn those insights into clear, scalable product direction.

This role is an opportunity to influence more than individual features. You will help determine how Ignite evolves as a software platform, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, usability, operational efficiency, security and compliance, integration constraints, and long-term product strategy. Success means solving real customer problems while strengthening a repeatable, scalable core product.

Responsibilities
  • Own the definition of customer problems, desired product outcomes, and product requirements within Ignite's broader strategy, partnering with product leadership on roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Lead structured product discovery through customer interviews, workflow observation, usage and support data, surveys, and problem validation to understand underlying needs rather than simply collecting requested solutions.
  • Evaluate and prioritize prospective and existing customer feedback using customer value, strategic alignment, evidence, scalability, product integrity, and impact as decision inputs.
  • Maintain clear productization guardrails by distinguishing among configuration, strategic product enhancements, and customer-specific customization, protecting a scalable core product while accommodating legitimate customer variation.
  • Develop product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business context, and outcome measures for commercially driven enhancements, and collaborate with Software Development on feasibility and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Define and monitor product success measures such as adoption, active utilization, time-to-value, implementation outcomes, support trends, customer satisfaction, retention or renewal indicators, and appropriate performance measures.
  • Contribute to strategy through market segmentation, target-customer definition, positioning, pricing and packaging input, competitive differentiation, business cases, sales enablement, and launch planning.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development on product demonstrations, prospective-customer discussions, requests for information, and accurate evaluation of Ignite capabilities and planned direction.
  • Partner with Implementation and Customer Success to support onboarding, configuration, training, adoption, and ongoing utilization while maintaining clear ownership boundaries between product decisions, implementation execution, and customer relationship management.
  • Support release planning and readiness by ensuring internal and external stakeholders understand new functionality, product changes, customer impacts, and intended outcomes.
  • Partner with Support and Customer Success to convert recurring incidents, workarounds, integration failures, and customer friction into structured products, workflow, training, or process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive products, industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may affect Ignite's market position, customer needs, or future product strategy.
  • Incorporate healthcare privacy, security, access-control, and compliance considerations, including HIPAA-related constraints, into product requirements and tradeoff decisions.
  • Maintain sufficient technical product literacy to understand integrations, APIs, external system dependencies, data movement, interoperability constraints, and customer implementation impacts.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for the Ignite product, including its capabilities, customer use cases, product positioning, implementation considerations, and planned direction.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in software product management, SaaS product ownership, healthcare technology, software implementation, clinical operations, or a closely related field, with demonstrated responsibility for product decisions or outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience with product discovery, problem definition, requirements development, prioritization, and translating customer or market needs into scalable software outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience working effectively with Software Development, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Customer Success, Support, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability, including the ability to define meaningful product KPIs, interpret usage and customer data, evaluate trends, and use evidence to guide prioritization.
Preferred Qualifications

Meaningful experience with healthcare technology, clinical workflows, EMR/EHR systems, or another regulated healthcare environment; alternatively, a strong SaaS product background with demonstrated ability to learn complex regulated domains quickly.

  • Working understanding of software integrations, APIs, data flows, and external system dependencies sufficient to evaluate product and customer implementation impacts.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy, security, and access-control considerations and the ability to incorporate those constraints into product requirements and decisions.
  • Experience working with Agile software development practices and product or work-management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate customer discussions, communicate tradeoffs, document decisions, and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Product Management, a clinical or healthcare field, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with healthcare software, EMR/EHR systems, rehabilitation technology, or other software supporting clinical workflows.
  • Experience commercializing, launching, implementing, or managing a software product offered to external customers.
  • Experience contributing to market segmentation, positioning, pricing or packaging, competitive analysis, business cases, or other go-to-market activities for a software product.
