Overall Job Summary

The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight within a timely manner. The TM Receiver interacts with customers and Team Members, supports selling initiatives, and performs assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. They also promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
• Process inbound and outbound freight, maintain inventory control, participate in freight process, keep work areas organized, operate cash registers, and ensure safety standards.
• Perform duties such as merchandise recovery, assembly, operating equipment (forklift, baler), and caring for poultry if applicable.
• Complete documentation and obtain necessary licenses or certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving preferred; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor work possible in adverse weather.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and access all store areas safely.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely.
• Operate equipment, lift merchandise up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Complete all training and certifications, including forklift and propane handling if applicable.
