Overall Job Summary

The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight in a timely manner. They interact with customers and Team Members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. They also promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
2. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
3. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
4. Perform duties such as processing inbound/outbound freight, maintaining inventory, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processes, and ensuring safety and organization.
5. Operate equipment like forklifts, balers, and cash registers following safety procedures.
6. Ensure a positive shopping experience and handle product rotation, assembly, and sanitation.
7. Complete all documentation and obtain necessary licenses or certifications.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred but not required. Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise, outdoor work possible in adverse weather.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to work outdoors and promote safety.

Physical Requirements

• Non-sedentary role requiring physical stamina to move throughout the store and outdoors.
• Ability to operate equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to read, write, count, and communicate effectively.
• Certification in propane handling may be required.
