The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight promptly. The TM Receiver interacts with customers and Team Members, supports selling initiatives, and performs assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. They also promote a safe and productive work environment for all Team Members, customers, and vendors, adhering to Tractor Supply Company safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

It is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling all the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, and Add Value & Appreciate.
• The TM Receiver performs duties including processing inbound/outbound freight, maintaining inventory control, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processes, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. They operate equipment such as cash registers, forklifts, and balers, and ensure safety and documentation compliance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred but not required. Retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is necessary.

Preferred knowledge, skills, or abilities

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution abilities.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor with moderate noise; outdoor work possible in adverse weather.
• Shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours, potentially exceeding 8 hours.
• Work on hard surfaces; safety guidelines must be followed.

Physical Requirements

• Non-sedentary role requiring physical stamina to move throughout the store and outdoors.
• Must be able to operate equipment, lift merchandise up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks with or without accommodations.
