The TLC Administrative Assistant also assists TLC student staff with maintaining a high level of professionalism among undergraduate peer educators.The position is also a contributing member of the TLC professional staff. This is a 75% appointment, with a full-time (100%) work schedule during the academic year and no work obligation during the summer months.\*\*Full position description is available upon request. \*\*## **Key Job Responsibilities:*** Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations* Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities* Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums* Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision* Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures## **Department:**Academic Success Administrative Operations lead serves the Academic and Career Advising Center (ACAC), the Disability Resource Center (DRC), the Office of International Education (OIE) and the Tutoring-Learning Center (TLC). This position manages internal and external operational needs for the suite and serves as the primary support for the Tutoring-Learning Center.## **Compensation:**The TLC Administrative Assistant position is a .75 FTE academic year appointment.Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly rate of $19.14, commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.Eligible Universities of Wisconsin employees receive an excellent benefits package.
