Job Description

1. Checking patients into the surgical waiting room.
2. Escorting patients and families to pre-op and discharge units.
3. Communicating with the nursing team to ensure efficient patient throughput.
4. Service recovery.
5. Parking validation.
6. Providing a professional and welcoming environment to all patients, families, visitors, and staff.
7. Maintaining the surgical waiting room environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary departments when services are needed.
8. Working with unit leadership and supply chain to support the inventory needs of the unit.
