Job description

Tivoli Engineer (With IBM System Automation experience)
Location: 100% Remote in USA
Direct Client: Kyndryl
Long-term Contract
W2

Responsibilities:

  1. Migrate BMC Auto Operator to IBM Tivoli Automation.
  2. Must have IBM systems automation and Netview experience.
  3. Detailed skills requirements to convert from BMC Mainview AutoOperator on the mainframe z/OS to IBM Tivoli system automation:
  1. Automation to IPL the system (bring it up and down).
  2. Create automated tickets from the mainframe to the customer Service Now.
  3. Implement simple message automation to alerts; all systems are run by exception alerts.
  4. Automated QA checking systems (e.g., DB2, IMS, MQ, Network, Hardware).
  5. Manage starts and stops of applications.
  6. Automation creates alerts and emails based on system issues.
  7. Track system conditions at any time, ensuring systems return to their previous state post-IPL/reboot.

  4. Network automation
  5. CICS

All automation is performed via IWS/OPCE, triggered by the scheduler to start and stop applications based on batch trails.
