Job description

Tivix is a business unit of Kellton that focuses on digital product development. Kellton is a publicly listed CMMi Level 5 company that aims to be one of the fastest emerging IT services companies in India. The company today has a presence in the US, EMEA, and Asia. We have development centers in Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Europe, and the US. We have, at present, a major focus on Digital Transformation, Microsoft Technologies, Enterprise Consumer Mobile Application Solutions, and Open Source Solutions. We are also into the Internet of Things (IoT), ERP, Big Data, and Cloud computing.

Tivix is a team of 150+ engineers, designers, and product managers. We’re headquartered in San Francisco and have other offices in New York, Portland, Poland, London, and India. We’re looking to add a key engineering team member to work closely with our clients and internal team members to deliver high-quality software products, features, and updates. We work well with smart people, are continuous learners, and take professionalism seriously (while having fun).

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing web services, including building and deploying MVPs, and managing feedback and feature changes.
  2. Leading a small team of Software Engineers.
  3. Handling project stakeholders and engaging with CxO level.
  4. Creating and working with 3rd party API integrations, commonly REST; GraphQL experience is also nice to have.
  5. Using No-SQL databases.
  6. Utilizing a queue system like RabbitMQ or Redis.
  7. Expertise in Cloud hosting solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  8. Building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
  9. Understanding existing architecture and proposing/building a smooth transition into new architecture.
  10. Familiarity with common CMS tools.
Qualifications:
  1. 8+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  2. Solid experience with technologies like Python, Django, Node.js, React, or Vue.
  3. Superior communication skills (both verbal and written).
Nice-to-Haves:
  1. Experience in domains like FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, Retail, or the QSR industry.
  2. Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally (if required).
  3. Experience with DevOps/CI tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
  4. Experience working with EMEA clients.
  5. Desire to be in a fast-moving consulting environment handling multi-country, multi-language, multi-currency, multi-brands systems.
