Job summary

Kinetic Advantage in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Title Specialist to support auction and dealer partners and internal teams by validating inbound/outbound collateral documents and ensuring compliance with title laws across the United States.

You will manage the lifecycle of floorplan collateral, resolve title issues with regulatory agencies, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years’ experience processing titles.
• OR any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience.
• OR 5+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Process lien requests, title applications, title corrections, and title check-outs.
• Provide input and maintenance of collateral management systems, data, records, and files.
• Communicate with dealers and/or vendors via incoming and outgoing phone calls.
• Develop understanding of Kinetic Advantage policies and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Title Specialist position is responsible for providing an exceptional and engaging user experience to our auction partners, dealer partners, and internal team members. Your primary responsibilities support the life cycle of an individual floorplan advance by facilitating the validation of and flow of all inbound and outbound collateral documents. This includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle title laws while also resolving title issues with the correct regulatory agencies. This process is essential to properly servicing, retaining, and delighting your internal and external partners, while facilitating Kinetic Advantage’s secured collateral position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Apply experience and lessons-learned to create or modify work methods related to records, files, processes, and procedures
• Process lien requests, title applications, title corrections, and title check-outs
• Provide input and maintenance of collateral management systems, data, records, and files necessary to provide servicing to the related partner or team
• Communicate with dealers and/or vendors via incoming and outgoing phone calls
• Develop a thorough understanding of Kinetic Advantage policies, processes, and procedures relative to assigned areas, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years’ experience processing titles
• OR any level of degree/certification beyond a high school diploma and 1 year of experience
• OR 5+ years of experience in a related field

• Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals, both verbally and written
• Must be knowledgeable about current title laws and restrictions across the United States

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, and move about an office environment
• Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
