Title Specialist- Temp

• This is a temporary position (approximately 6-8 weeks, May-July, potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance)
• Monday – Friday, 7AM -4PM
• $26.00 - $36.00 / Hour

Summary: We are looking for a temporary Title Specialist to join our team. The Title Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of vehicle/equipment titles for clients by maintaining knowledge of current laws regarding vehicle/equipment titles, verifying accurate title information, and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and maintain vehicle documentation and title information.
• Process DMV paperwork.
• Daily data entry including status of titles and penalties, violations, etc.
• Process and scan title documents and attach to correct vehicle in system according to company policies and procedures.
• Receive payments, including tax payments, from customers for vehicle/equipment registration and titling transactions.
• Audit title issues, odometer readings, and VIN number
• Check for application accuracy and complete any missing items.
• Contact vendors and customers to obtain the status of missing titles and updating title status in vault
• Resolve exceptions by completing documentation, submitting it to the state, and or working with the clients.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members for a continuous follow up with all interactions.
• Draft and send professional correspondence to customers.

• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
• Adheres to all Company Core Values, Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong customer facing and relationship skills
• Knowledge of titling and client services
• 1-2 years of direct experience with vehicle or equipment titling.
