Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist to support our auto secured loan portfolio across branch networks. You will handle mail processing, customer inquiries, and liaison duties with internal teams and vendors.

You will identify anomalies, escalate appropriately, and work to improve lien perfection rates while ensuring compliance with OneMain policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year in customer service.
  • Auto titling and/or lending experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, sort, and process mail related to lienholder on auto property.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries about lien placement using our vendor system.
  • Identify anomalies and escalate for timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with branch network to increase lien perfection rates.
  • Coordinate with Centralized Sales, Underwriting and Branch personnel.
  • Maintain knowledge of OneMain policies and applicable state and federal laws.

Job description

OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist, who will be responsible for maintaining a high performing auto secured loan portfolio rating for our branch network and centralized accounts. This will be done through administrative and customer service-oriented tasks. In the Role Identify, sort, and process mail as it relates to our stake as lienholder on customer’s auto property. Answer phone and email inquiries from our branch network with questions about the lien placement process and using our third-party vendor system. Identify anomalies or complex issues and decisively escape to provide a timely and seamless transition within the process. Partner with our branch network to increase their lien perfection rates on auto secured loans. Act as a liaison between multiple internal and external customers and/or vendors. This will include written and verbal communication with Centralized Sales, Underwriting and Branch personnel. Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of OneMain’s policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED 1 (One) or more year(s) in customer service
  • Prior experience in auto titling and/or lending is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to review loan and title documents in a timely fashion.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
