Job summary

The Title Service Representative supports processing vehicle title applications by gathering documents, communicating with customers and owners, and ensuring compliance with state and buyer requirements. You will also handle inbound calls, emails, and provide exceptional service while resolving discrepancies.

Working within IAA Holdings, LLC, you will enter title data into our system, stay current on title laws across multiple states, and collaborate with internal teams to transfer titles

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years State/National title processing experience.
  • Previous knowledge in title and salvage title requirements.
  • Maintaining customer databases.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process documentation for insurance and remarketing customers.
  • Process incoming salvage titles from multiple states and set for sale.
  • Keep up-to-date on title regulations by learning and maintaining knowledge of current title/salvage laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support by offering solutions and timely responses to external/internal partners.
  • Provides a variety of customer support services through the mail, email, telephone and direct personal contact.
  • Enters information from titles received from the state into the IAA operating system.
  • Stays current with title/salvage laws in multiple states
  • Responds to customer questions, complaints and requests.
  • Resolves problems encountered in the effort to transfer title ownership.

Description

The Title Service Representative is directly responsible for securing all necessary documents to accompany applications to transfer vehicle title ownership. Tasks include compiling all necessary documents, communicating with customers and vehicle owners, resolving problems and discrepancies, answering inbound phone calls, sending emails, and providing excellent customer service. Compliance with state and/or buyer requirements is essential. Where IAA has authorization to process applications as an acting state processing authority, Title Specialist may also work within those state systems

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years State/National title processing experience

  • Resolves problems encountered in the effort to transfer title ownership.
  • Performs word processing assignments, filing and related clerical duties.
  • Follows well-established procedures and under close direction of supervisor.
  • Assists with other office functions as needed.
  • Immediately reports all violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager.
  • Protects and preserves confidential, personal customer information received and adheres to state and company records retention policies and procedures.
  • Develop employees as part of a progression plan
  • Maintain a culture of responsibility, accountability, integrity, and execution across span of control
  • Other duties as assigned per management
