Pike Engineering is seeking a Title Research Specialist to support easement procurement for transmission and distribution projects. The role focuses on identifying landowners, recording easements, and supporting quit claim processes with Notary Public duties as required.
The candidate should have education in business/real estate, notary capability, and experience in title research or paralegal work within real estate. Strong document control and negotiation skills are essential.
SUMMARY: The Title Research Specialist works in the easement procurement process related to distribution or transmission right of ways supporting the Right of Way Specialist and other team members to identify the owners of land parcels, existing easements and recordation’s. This position is also responsible for recording executed easements and providing information for the quit claim process. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Notary Public seal for the States in which services are rendered.

1-3Year(s) Experience in title research or real estate related paralegal field.
Public Notary is required. Real Estate license preferred.
Employees new to the position will be required to gain full working knowledge of the systems and processes used in the full performance of the job which may include attending seminars, on the job with other incumbents to the role or corporate workshops.
A. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
B. Ability to write reports, Business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
C. Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
1. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret spread sheets.

B. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
