Job summary

CorrTech, Inc. is seeking a skilled field engineer to lead on-site corrosion projects in the Massachusetts area. You will perform technical evaluation, testing, inspection, and installation, and document field data with notes and photos.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field, 5+ years in corrosion/construction, NACE CP2+ certification, and ability to work safely under OSHA standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors and maintain strong communication with clients while

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field is required.
• 5+ years in corrosion, construction, water/wastewater/utilities
• NACE CP2+ certification required
• Physical capabilities including standing, kneeling, walking, occasional confined space, climbing, and working at height; may lift up to 50 lbs
• DOT drug test and background check required

Responsibilities

• On-site technical evaluation, testing, inspection, and installation with field data/photo documentation.
• Produce field reports and annual survey reports using Word and Excel; draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Interpret specifications and construction plans to create submittals and verify materials.
• Manage CorrTech operations with subcontractors for project execution.
• Follow site safety plans and OSHA regulations; lead tail-gate safety reviews and ensure job hazard analysis compliance.
• Familiarity with test equipment, staging, hand and power tools, and maintenance of them

• Performance of on-site technical evaluation, testing, inspection, and installation. Ability to create field data, notes, photo documentation and other as required by the project.
• Exceptional report writing skills to produce field reports, annual survey reports and typewritten data using Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations as required by projects.
• Understanding of specifications and construction plans to create submittals, order and verify project materials
• Manage CorrTech operation with subcontractors as required for project execution
• Adhere to CorrTech safely plan, specific site safety plan and OSHA regulations. Lead tail-gate safety review, oversee and ensure compliance with project job hazard analysis
• Familiarity with test equipment and supplies, staging, hand and power tools and maintenance of same
