JOB SUMMARY

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Supervisory experience is desired.
• Robotic and Welding background would be desirable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Daily Supervision of department personnel.
• Implementation and adherence to “World Class” Manufacturing Policies and Procedures
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Support in related areas of the environmental management system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Engineering background desired and at least 5 years of experience within the Automotive Industry showing a steady career progression.
• A good understanding of “Lean Manufacturing” concepts.
• Ability to work under pressure with integrity and meet stringent timelines.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Health and Safety of all subordinates including any sub-contractor working in the area of responsibility.
• Supports the Operational Performance Metrics relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery and helps ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
• Supports and contributes to the Annual Operating Plan regarding performance and cost expectations.
