Job summary

Providence Public Schools District (PPSD) seeks a Title IX & EEO Officer to lead nondiscrimination and civil rights compliance. You will coordinate investigations, ensure timely responses, and work with district departments to address harassment and discriminatory practices.

You will develop guidance and training on Title IX, Title VI, and related laws, while monitoring investigations and outcomes to promote a safe, inclusive educational environment for students, staff, and communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience conducting investigations into harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct.
• Experience developing and delivering training on Title IX, Title VI, equal employment opportunity, and civil rights laws.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
• Experience presenting educational training on relevant issues.
• Ability to maintain timelines and act as an impartial investigator.

Responsibilities

• Receives and conducts informal and formal investigations of complaints.
• Provides supportive measures and guidance to complainants and respondents.
• Coordinates and monitors investigations, reporting, and outcomes.
• Develops training materials and disseminates information on Title IX/Title VI and anti-harassment laws.
• Collaborates with HR, legal counsel, and district leaders to resolve complaints.
