University of Pittsburgh seeks a Title IX and Section 504 Coordinator to serve as the institution's Title IX Coordinator and provide strategic leadership for responses to sexual harassment and discrimination complaints. The Title IX and Section 504 Coordinator serves as the University's Title IX Coordinator and provides strategic leadership for the University's response to complaints of sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Compliance, Investigations & Ethics, this position directs the institutional framework for compliance with federal, state and local civil rights laws, including Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other civil rights regulations.
Serves as main contact for sexual violence prevention and education and responds to government inquiries regarding anti-discrimination laws, regulations, and requirements. Investigates complex claims and complaints of discrimination. Manages and tracks outcomes of training and education programs. Develops, evaluates, and improves disclosures, policies, procedures, and practices. Designs climate surveys, manages complex inquiries, and organizes other files regarding compliance.
Duties are primarily sedentary. Must be able to use a computer at a desk or similar workstation, and travel to on-campus meetings as needed.
