Job summary

The University of Alabama School of Social Work administers the Title IV-E Program under contract with the DHR to support education and training of prospective and current child welfare workers.

The Title IV-E Administrator provides daily leadership, oversees stipends and training initiatives, and coordinates with multiple partners. The role includes supervising staff and ensuring program goals are met while navigating a complex, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate programs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Title IV-E program daily and develop its activities.
• Liaise between the University of Alabama, DHR, and subcontractors for program activities.
• Oversee the Title IV-E Stipend Program and the Training/Conference programs.
• Provide direct and indirect supervision to all staff.
