Job summary

Saugus Public Schools is seeking a Title I Literacy and/or Math Tutor (Part-Time) to support students in small-group interventions aligned with Math and Literacy standards. The role operates in a push-in model with Coaches and Reading Specialists, approximately 19.5 hours per week and grant-funded for about 40 weeks at $34.42 per hour.

The Tutor will assist with assessments, data reviews, and intervention delivery using programs such as Envisions Math, Wit & Wisdom, Heggerty and Fundations.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Identify students for intervention using objective criteria with Coaches and Reading Specialists.
• Assist in administering testing and monitoring of students and analyze results.
• Teach and assist interventions from Envisions Math, Wit & Wisdom, Heggerty, Fundations and other interventions.
• Collaborate with colleagues at data meetings.
• Complete required paperwork for Title I interventions.
