Job summary

Woodward ES is seeking a Title I Parent Liaison to support parental involvement for a diverse student population. The role focuses on data analysis, engagement activities, and collaboration with staff to strengthen family participation in Title I programs.

The one-year position is funded through Title I funds and requires strong written and verbal communication skills, with duties including organizing parent meetings and resource catalogs for families with language or accessibility barriers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment, required.
• Associate degree or higher from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required.
• Minimum of sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of college courses with GPA 2.0+ from a Georgia PSC-approved college or university.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain communication with parents and conduct monthly Title I Parent Meetings.
• Coordinate parental involvement activities and offer workshops and learning opportunities for Title I students.
• Serve as liaison between the school community and parents to address concerns and foster an inviting school environment.
• Develop plans for Title I activities in line with district guidelines and regulations.
• Communicate with staff to support educational programs enhancing student achievement.
• Assist in managing records and reports and conduct regular audits of parental involvement for compliance.
