East Baton Rouge Parish School System seeks a Title I Paraprofessional - Instructional Support to assist teachers in delivering special education programs. Under supervision of a certified teacher, you will help with instructional activities, behavior support, and classroom management to meet individual student needs.
You will prepare materials, supervise students during the day, and help maintain records and reports while upholding confidentiality and district policies.

The Division of Human Resources
Assists teachers to provide for the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assists in the implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of the certified teacher.
Other duties as assigned that are related to the functions of the position.
High school diploma or high school equivalent. Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours with required courses); or received an Associate's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher learning; or a minimum score of 450 on the ETS Parapro Exam.
