Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a ParaEducator/Instructional Support (Title I Paraprofessional) at Leroy Elementary School in Thornton, CO. You will assist students with reading, writing, and basic math, implement instruction, reinforce learning, and support school-wide discipline in a Title I setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AA or 2 year degree or paraprofessional exam or Personal Commitment Plan required.
• No experience required; experience with school age children preferred.
• Spanish proficiency if in Dual Language Program; ESL training within 3 months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and tutoring, including individual and small-group work.
• Supervise in-person students during remote learning; support teacher and remote sessions.
• Assist teachers in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc.
• Monitor student behavior during breaks, field trips, and other activities.
• Assist with special projects and other job-related duties as assigned.
