The Title Assistant role involves a variety of administrative and support duties related to residential, commercial, and industrial title processes. Responsibilities include collating information, responding to inquiries, reviewing data for accuracy, providing customer service to external clients and field escrow offices, and coordinating with multiple parties to complete the title process. Employees develop skills and experience, completing most tasks with little instruction.

What You'll Do

  1. Perform a wide range of administrative duties requiring experience and knowledge of title guarantees, policies, and practices.
  2. Create and maintain files, records, and reports; monitor and track workflow.
  3. Respond to inquiries, gather information, resolve issues, and complete the title process. Prepare documentation and reports.
  4. Communicate with internal and external groups.

What You'll Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of title industry experience, with a focus on default preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism and a positive service attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Good judgment.
  • Working knowledge of systems like FSI/Eloandata, IDS, BKFS/Loansphere, Data Tree, Data Trace.
  • Familiarity with county recording requirements (preferred).
  • Experience with searching/examining and understanding title chains.
  • Knowledge of default cycle and related guarantees (preferred).

Salary Range: $19.82 - $26.43 Hourly. This range reflects a reasonable estimate at posting, with pay based on various factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
