Job summary

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States for government employment.
• Two years of progressive experience extracting information from legal documents and records related to real property ownership or transactions.
• One year of experience examining and analyzing real property ownership records to determine and evidence title.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in examining, determining and evidencing title to real property.
• Search records, examine conveyances, and summarize the history of title for recording.
• Note liens, encumbrances and clouds affecting title; prepare and issue title evidence.
• At IV level, assign and supervise other employees in preparing Certificates of Title.
