East Baton Rouge Parish School System is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers and students with disabilities in a special education setting. The role involves assisting with instructional programs, self-help skills, and behavior support under the supervision of a certified teacher and principal.

Assists teachers to provide for the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assists in the implementation of classroom programs, including self‑help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Works under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of the certified teacher.
Other duties as assigned that are related to the functions of the position.
High school diploma or high school equivalent. Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours with required courses); or received an Associate’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher learning; or a minimum score of 450 on the ETS Parapro Exam.
