Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp in Albany, Oregon, is seeking a Furnace Operator to run titanium casting furnaces and oversee ingot production on a 4x10 swing shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 pm–2:00 am). This hands-on role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and meeting production rates within quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the furnace, MIG welding, tracking documentation, loading molds, training helpers, and keeping a clean, safe workplace while supporting process

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required, but relevant experience may be considered.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Mechanically inclined and able to work in a team.
• Production operation experience preferred.
• MIG welding experience helpful.
• Must be able to use and understand basic computer functions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
• Baseline hearing test prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain titanium casting furnace.
• MIG weld electrodes for the casting process.
• Complete all tracking and documentation as required.
• Adhere to department and company procedures and policies.
• Load molds in burnout ovens.
• Train casting helpers.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Participate in safety improvements through observations and teamwork.
• Be accountable for safe work practices.
• Meet production rates consistent with quality expectations.
• Assist with general departmental cleanup.
