Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior measuring or inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprint specifications.
• Basic high-school level math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Comfort working with small, precision tools.
• Strong attention to detail and focus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and work history.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Solid employment history with recent employers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure titanium aerospace castings to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and quality requirements.
• Measure titanium castings using precision measurement tools.
• Visually inspect castings for defects and properly identify and mark findings.
• Inspect corrective welds, blends, and alterations to verify the part continues to meet dimensional requirements.
• Set castings into fixtures for finishing CNC machine operations.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify visual and dimensional specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprint specifications with training and support.
• Carefully document and communicate inspection results.
• Work closely with team members to help maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
