Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years relevant research or medical laboratory experience beyond degree preferred.
  • Ability to perform procedures independently and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Principal Investigator to plan, structure, and execute research experiments.
  • Troubleshoots assays and customizes tools to answer research questions.
  • Coordinates resources required to complete the research plan.
  • May provide direction to laboratory group and trainees.
  • Generates clear records of experimental work and contributes to publications.
