Versiti is recruiting a Research Technologist II for the Jarjour laboratory at the Versiti Blood Research Institute. The role focuses on tissue-resident immunity, a key area in organ homeostasis and defense, and involves developing, improving, and implementing lab techniques to advance the project timeline.

The lab emphasizes collaboration, respect, and curiosity, with opportunities to contribute to publications and complex experiments under PI guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent required
• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, structure, and execute research experiments with PI guidance
• Troubleshoot assays and customize tools to answer questions
• Coordinate resources for research plan completion
• Possibly supervise lab group or trainees
• Maintain clear records of experimental work
• Participate in publications and presentations
• Support scientific projects and adhere to regulatory requirements
• Follow standard operating policies and procedures
