Job summary

Sierra Donor Services is seeking a Tissue Recovery Coordinator to oversee the Tissue Team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating procurement from hospitals and funeral homes, and leading recovery of cadaveric tissue.

Bachelor's degree preferred, CTBS/EBAA certification desired, and 2+ years in the medical field. Valid driver's license required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a vaccination requirement for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, CTBS/EBAA certification desired.
• 2+ years experience in the medical field.
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Tissue Recovery Procurement with hospitals and funeral homes.
• Leads recovery team efforts for donated cadaveric tissue including bone, skin, corneas, and valves.
• Serves as a resource and advisor to internal team members for recovery.
• Ensures clear communication with leadership and peers.
• Participates in tissue recovery and donor restoration as appropriate.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory and quality processes.
• Travel and on-call duties will be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
