WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role leads all aspects of tissue recovery by performing the full duties of a Tissue Recovery Surgical Specialist, including recovering clinical and non‑clinical tissues, coordinating case logistics with partners and facility staff, preparing all necessary instruments and supplies, conducting time‑outs, completing physical assessments, ensuring compliant documentation, and overseeing post‑operative donor care and safe transport of tissues, staff, and equipment. It also manages all post‑recovery tasks such as preparing and scheduling shipments, organizing storage, maintaining inventory, and keeping recovery spaces clean and audit‑ready while ensuring timely completion of donor records. Additionally, the role provides leadership and training by assigning team member roles, ensuring material and facility readiness, communicating with external and internal stakeholders, supervising trainees, and precepting new staff. It drives quality and continuous improvement by reviewing donor records, leading NCI and CAPA investigations, maintaining organized workspaces, supporting KPI development, participating in audit readiness, and engaging in LEAN initiatives to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 2 years experience in a healthcare related field with a minimum of 12 months' experience leading a team or a project lead or 1 year experience in tissue recovery as a Tissue Recovery Surgical Specialist
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Credentials - Must be able to meet all credentialing requirements of area hospitals and other recovery facilities
Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher‑cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
