Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a qualified Shift Leader to guide the tissue manufacturing team at the Pennington facility. You will report to the Performance Leader and oversee 15–30 hourly staff, driving operational excellence and value for the company.

You will mentor teammates, implement Principle-Based Management and OBWS, address performance gaps, and collaborate with engineers and other leaders to align roles with mill goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Experience supervising hourly staff.
• Experience communicating operational data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, supervise and develop hourly associates in the Tissue department.
• Implement Principle-Based Management and Ownership-Based Work System to improve capability and performance.
• Oversee payroll, timekeeping, attendance and performance evaluations.
• Ensure roles and expectations align with mill and company goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and salaried leaders to address performance gaps.
• Serve as incident command for critical communications when required.
