Fall Creek Farm & Nursery, Inc. in Lowell, Oregon seeks a Tissue Culture Lab Supervisor to lead a team of Lab Technicians, coordinate weekly TC lab activities, develop QC protocols, and drive data reporting. The candidate will manage plant tissue culture projects, ensure adherence to SOPs, and support continuous improvement while upholding Fall Creek values and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or advanced training; or 4+ years related working experience.
• 2+ years of relevant lab experience, depending on education/technical expertise.
• Demonstrated supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of tissue culture techniques and good laboratory practices.

Responsabilités

• Production planning: Coordinate production schedules and inventory, forecasting, and stock levels to meet goals.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop staff; set goals and provide feedback.
• Lab Operations: Oversee daily TC lab activities, follow SOPs, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Fulfill Requests within the Quality & Time Targets: Maintain QC standards and adhere to specifications.
• Research: Support tests for variety optimization, DNA QC, and pathogen testing as needed.
• Equipment & Resources: Maintain equipment and document routine maintenance.
