Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Palatka, FL is hiring for Production Converting Utility workers. This rotating 12-hour shift role involves days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime in a non-climate controlled environment. Starting pay is $21.82 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

You will operate converting equipment, work with shop tools, and handle heavy lifting while following safety rules. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, production or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and troubleshoot a variety of machines.
• Work with computers and tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least 12 hours a day.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
