Job summary

S&S Tire is hiring a warehouse associate/backup driver to support multi-location wholesale tire operations. The role involves manual labor, lifting tires up to 150 lbs, and operating warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading tires, order picking, driving 16'–28' box trucks for deliveries, and collecting Cash on Delivery payments while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Desire and ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance.
• Frequent bending, twisting and lifting.
• Proper placement of received and shipping products in warehouse.
• Ability to operate warehouse-related equipment.
• Willingness and ability to drive and operate delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, check, and tally tires for carriers.
• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs.
• Deliver products via 16'–28' box trucks and collect COD payments.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
