Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Boise, ID is seeking a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road through tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. No prior experience is required— training is available. You’ll perform tire mounting, balancing, vehicle inspections, and basic repairs in a supportive, team-oriented shop.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but training available.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
