Job summary

Priors Tires LLC in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Tire Technician & Road Service specialist to join our hands-on team. This role covers shop and field work, keeping customers safe on the road. You'll mount, balance, rotate tires, perform repairs, respond to road service calls, and provide clear guidance to customers.

A valid driver's license and physical ability are required; prior tire service or automotive experience is preferred. Our team values reliability and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in tire service, automotive maintenance, or a related mechanical field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; road service driving required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical, hands-on work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment is a plus.

• Mount, balance, and install tires on a variety of passenger, commercial, and light truck vehicles.
• Perform tire rotations, flat repairs, and valve stem replacements.
• Respond to road service calls and provide on-site tire assistance to customers.
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation, advising customers on replacements.
• Operate tire mounting and balancing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
