Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Richland, WA is hiring for a Sales & Service position focused on tire installation, maintenance and sales. You will deliver high-quality customer service while following company policies and the Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining tires and wheels, balancing, TPMS calibration, and basic battery testing. Training is provided on the job to grow product knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
• Ability to lift 35–75 pounds frequently and perform bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels, including repairs, rotations, balancing, inflation.
• Attach, rebalance wheels and calibrate TPMS; test drive and operate service vehicles for offsite tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales in line with company policy.

Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries; using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience:

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $26.45
