Job summary

Flynn's Tire Group in Akron, OH is seeking Tire Technicians for an entry-level role. No automotive experience or degree is required; paid training starts day one and you’ll be mentored as you learn tire installation, rotation, balancing, and basic repairs.

This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules with opportunities to advance into higher paying roles such as Master Tire Technician or Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Entry-level Tire Technician; no automotive experience or degree required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have an acceptable MVR/background check.
• Ability to lift 20–80 lbs.
• Paid training from day one to build real skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic maintenance services.
• Safely operate tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist customers with tire service needs in a professional manner.
