Job summary

Belle Tire in Rockford, IL is seeking a Tire Technician to install, maintain, repair, and rotate tires while delivering safe, high-quality service. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented store focused on customer satisfaction and safety.

Ideal candidates are passionate about cars, can explain tire options and maintenance needs, and can stand and lift up to 75 pounds. A varied schedule including weekends is possible; benefits and ASE training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 18 years old, Valid driver's license, Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
• Ensure all work meets Belle Tire's high-quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
