Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to operate in a fast-paced environment, handling tire sales, removal and replacement for commercial vehicles both in shop and roadside service. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and store facilities, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires lifting up to 75+ pounds, ability to work in varying temperatures, and a DOT medical card which Love’s will cover.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
• Strong work ethic and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction of customers, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Assist in training new technicians (no prior experience required).
