Job summary

American Tire Depot in Irvine, CA is seeking a Part-Time Tire Technician to join a fast-paced automotive team. You’ll mount, balance, rotate tires, perform oil changes, and assist with battery service while delivering fast, accurate customer service.

Qualifications

• Automotive, tire, or lube experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Test and replace batteries.
• Inspect vehicles and document findings.
• Assist with TPMS sensor service.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support teammates in delivering fast, accurate customer service.
• Learn additional mechanical skills like brakes, alignments, and suspension work over time.
