Job summary

American Tire Depot is hiring a part-time Tire Technician to join a fast-paced automotive team with flexible hours and clear paths for growth.

You will mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires; perform oil changes and filter replacements; test batteries; and inspect vehicles while delivering friendly, accurate service.

This role emphasizes hands-on training, safety, teamwork, and opportunities to advance into mechanic, service advisor, or management roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, tire, or lube preferred but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow on the job.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect vehicles and document findings
• Assist with TPMS sensor service
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Support teammates delivering fast, accurate customer service
• Learn brakes, alignments, and suspension work over time
