The Tire Technician at Southwest Accessory Group safely mounts and balances tires and wheels in a fast-paced warehouse setting, following SWAG specifications and quality standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and dependable attendance to ensure assemblies meet safety and production requirements.

Responsibilities include operating tire service equipment, inspecting components, maintaining inventory, and assisting with related warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous tire mounting and balancing experience.
• Ability to safely operate tire service equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in a tire shop or warehouse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mount and balance tires and wheels per manufacturer and SWAG specifications.
• Operate tire mounting, balancing, and related shop equipment safely.
• Inspect tires, wheels, valve stems, and assemblies for quality.
• Verify work meets safety and quality standards before release.
• Maintain tire and wheel inventory at the workstation.
• Move and position tires and wheels safely and efficiently.
• Keep workstation organized and stocked with tools and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to management.
• Assist with inventory, shipping, receiving, or other duties as needed.
