Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Boise is seeking a tire installation and service teammate. You will install and maintain tires and wheels, repair and rotate tires, and assist with TPMS calibration while ensuring top customer service and safety on every job.

Role involves lifting heavy loads, standing long hours, and frequent bending. On-the-job training is provided. Competitive pay and benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/rebuild/calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install vehicle batteries.
• Operate service equipment safely and properly.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Test drive vehicles for service quality.
• Drive service vehicles for offsite and emergency road calls.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• attaching and rebalancing wheels
• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• washing tires and wheels
• testing and installing batteries
• using and maintenance of equipment
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales
• uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers

Experience

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $16.50 - $26.45
