Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to service tires for customers and commercial vehicles both in shop and roadside. No experience? We will teach you.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, interact with drivers, and help ensure safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include tire removal and installation, equipment and store upkeep, and lifting heavy loads while adhering to safety policies.

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for customers and commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Move or lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and provide excellent customer service.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess/obtain a Department of Transportation medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Earn $14.50 - $20.00 p/hr
• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
