Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in Santa Barbara is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, dismount, balance and rotate tires, repair flats, test TPMS, and perform oil changes. You will inspect vehicles, document issues, and help maintain shop cleanliness and safety alongside your team.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire/lube or automotive service preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to specification.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries and stock inventory.

Tire Technicians:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
