Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to service tires, perform installations, and assist drivers and customers in a fast-paced setting. No experience? We will teach you! The role supports growth within a national network and offers a pathway to develop hands-on skills in tire maintenance and vehicle service.

We value safety, teamwork, and reliable customer service as you contribute to a busy store environment with rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire installation and basic vehicle inspection preferred.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Commitment to safety policies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial and consumer vehicles.
• Perform equipment maintenance and keep the store area clean and organized.
• Move and handle tires and equipment up to 75+ pounds as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies to ensure customer and teammate safety.
• Work rotating day/night shifts as required by the store schedule.
• Possess or obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
