Southern Tire Mart in Pecos, TX is seeking a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger and commercial fleets. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform fleet inspections, and complete routine maintenance while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18+; 21+ to drive.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Able to lift/move tires weighing 30-250 lbs, with or without assistance.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required.

Aufgaben

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, and commercial applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles.
• Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Operate company vehicles safely and respond to service calls.
• Load/unload inventory and assist with stock counts.
• Use and maintain TPMS systems and follow safety procedures.

Jobbeschreibung

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires: passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles including:
• Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic and speed regulations
• Respond to service calls using a service truck (F-350) when necessary
• Load/unload inventory and assist with physical stock counts
• Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
• Follow all safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Education / Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
• Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime maybe required.
