Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Tire Technician in California to service commercial tires in shop and roadside settings. You will contribute to a fast-paced environment with friendly interactions with customers and drivers, contributing to safer travels and daily growth opportunities.

No prior tire experience is required as Love’s provides training; you may lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including housekeeping.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and various temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
